The Requirement / The Challenge
Eastvantage’s OpenERP specialists have worked on several projects for the in-house management of Janssens Field Services. From scratch, our team has created a ticketing system, a coaching tool, a fleet manager, and customized existing workflows. To date, more and more features are being added based on additional requirements, supporting the evolution and innovation of JFS.
- To create an open-source integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for small and medium businesses
- To develop a new module that contains the API method of the current ticketing system handling events for the project
- Key Performance Indicator (KPI) to keep track of the performance of technicians and call agents
- To create a technician scheduling system to track the availability of technicians per area/zone who speak the language of the customer
- To implement a dispatching system that allows dispatchers to control the order of technicians’ work orders per day
- To create a system for call agents to log events that happened during the calls and trigger the necessary actions after
- To develop an additional tracking system for warehouse management functions
The Solution
- Developing each system from scratch
- Producing a new module that contains wrapper methods
- Designing and writing KPI methods that generate statistics in Python and translated by PHP
- Providing APIs for clients
- Creating new modules to track inventory and stock movement in particular
- Integrating additional modules into the existing ERP system
